                                            Screw those rubs and everything, the perfect, steak is with salt and then its first fried in oil til its brown, then you put in the butter, half a garlic and 1stick of rosemary, cook it on low heat with the butter until about 48-54 degree Celsius

                                                My favorite two methods:
                                                Method A:
                                                Heat oven to 500 degrees with cast iron skillet in it
                                                1. Coat a 1.5 inches thick ribeye with kosher salt, freshly ground pepper pepper, and peanut oil.

                                                2. Take skillet out of the oven, put it on the stovetop and sear each side of the steak, 45 seconds each side.

                                                3. Place in oven and cook to desired doneness, flipping halfway through.

                                                4. Wrap the steak in foil and rest for 15 minutes before eating.

                                                Method B:
                                                1. Coat a 1.5 inches thick ribeye with kosher salt, freshly ground pepper pepper, and peanut oil.

                                                2. Place in smoker with a probe thermometer and cook at 300 degrees until it reaches 8 degrees below desired doneness. I cook mine to 120 degrees.

                                                3. Place steak on top of a charcoal chimney with a grate on it. Sear for about 20-30 seconds each side. It won't take long. Charcoal chimneys get up to 900 degrees.

                                                4. Rest in foil for 15 minutes.

                                                Regardless of the method, high heat must be a factor in order to get a really good sear. Also, salt and pepper is all you need most of the time. If you over season, you can burn the seasoning which doesn't taste right.
