People ffs, they're taking Darnold second because it's a long term pick. Mahomes played one full season and was lights out. Darnold played decent but had zero weapons and a bad o line. Mayfield had weapons in Landry, Chubb, and Njoku. Darnold has a couple weapons this season. He will be better this season. It's not a basis on what they are now it's what they're gonna be down the line.

Im a Cowboy fan and dont love Dak, but he isnt a chump either lol He does have attributes like hes can run, he never gets hurt and most of his accuracy problems are technique, he can get better. Do I think he should get 40 or even 35 million, no way, but they talk about him like hes a bum. lol His numbers are not that different than Wentz side by side, pretty close. Wentz is a better pure passer no doubt, but the numbers are pretty close.

All the analysts OVERRATE Darnold because that was "their #1 QB prospect" when he came out. Problem is, Darnold's NFL production doesn't justify the glowing reviews, much less equate to Mahomes, Watson and Mayfield, i.e., in that order.
