      Holy crap, how much does all of this cost?

        I think the cool thing about the 2jz was you could make high power with a stock block. Here he is replacing factory parts. Still cool nonetheless

                                                    Why e85 fuel why not 91 octane. Or 87 . Im not sure so im just wondering i thought ethanol loses power and needs way more fuel.

                                                      @caged lion
                                                      With modern gaskets and modern fuel lines etc corrosion wont be an issue.

                                                      110 octane is ~12$ per gallon
                                                      E85 (pretty much same octane rating) is ~2.35$ per gallon.

                                                      Though, i would never run e85 on a non super/turbo charged engine since you probably will never reach those extreme cylinder pressures.

                                                      91 (EU 95) octane should only be used on a stock or mildly tuned NA engine in my opinion.
                                                      Since the risk of pre-detonation is so high.

                                                      One should atleast run 93 (EU 98) octane if you have a tuned NA or super/turbo charged engine.

                                                      One bad pre-detonation and you can say bye to your engine.

                                                      @Seb C i get what your saying it is cheaper if you can't afford it we just don't like it because it is corrosive and we pull bigger numbers with 108 110 0r sometimes 91 even . E85 can be done I'm not saying it can't but you need to up fuel delivery to do it so your burning more gas in the end . Does a guys save than I'm not so sure.

                                                      @Seb C yup turbo pressure fills volume of the cylinder and ups it still gas is better e85 is corrosive im not a fan of it but whatever works i guess.

                                                      So you agree that you need high octane for high cylinder pressure...
                                                      Then why the fuck do you shit in e85?
                                                      Which has a high octane rating...

                                                      And now you're only talking shit, why deviate from the topic at hand?...

                                                      You can't run high boost engines with 87 or 91 octane since you WILL get pre-detonation with the amount of cylinder pressy you will get...
                                                      E85 (or other high octane fuel) solves that issue..
                                                      So why do you talk shit about e85?

                                                      Compression = cylinder pressure...
                                                      Which turbo engines has a fuckton of...

                                                      You NEED high octane because turbo engines makes high peak cylinder pressure since they make alot of power per cubic inch...
                                                      Unless you want pre-detonation that is...

                                                      Plus e85 is cheap compared to 110 octane or other race fuel, plus its way more convinient.

The fact that you are going to get 1000 bhp from this engine is has crapped over everything I thought I knew about turbo exhaust manifold design! :D
