"She liberated the people of Slaver's bay, she liberated the people of Kings Landing"

Yes Tyrion is trying to say she will keep on going but if his list is of bad things she did then why did he start it off mentioning a good thing or vice versa. If she was going to liberate places like she did Slaver's Bay then let her have at it. Of course this isn't madness on her part but rather a goal-possibly ridiculously hard to reach (at least without armies that don't respawn)-but not madness on her part. It isn't fascism either. So now there are three options for why Daenerys supposedly burned King's Landing but they don't really make sense.

Now if she is bringing paradise then how were a bunch of peasants stopping her (and requiring her to burn the who city)?

Maybe its me but I feel like the script had her do something ridiculously out of character and now is trying to find strings of words to excuse it.

But at least Tyrion told him she would kill him yet it turns out she still wants him (thus not likely to murder Jon Snow) when Jon reaches the throne room.

So if Tyrion is lying about that maybe he is lying in the rest of the nonsense.

He talked about Varys being right yet if what Varys did is one of the things that sent Daenerys over the edge it is actually a self fulfilling prophesy-which means Varys was wrong because if he had left her alone both he and thousands of people in King's Landing would be alive.

@pplr1 you're misunderstanding tyrion there, he uses the word liberate to imply she's going to inflict the same kind of 'liberation' as she inflicted upon kings landing upon the rest of westeros, putting it in Jon's head that that implication exists when Dany later speaks of it. Freedom can and has been used as a metaphor for death, & Tyrion deliberately uses it there, that is manipulation & clever words, not madness.

      @Broadbull, Enabler of Uncounted Combos

Show continuity died long before this. Though this may be one more nail in the coffin.

Tyrion suffers madness as well though because they both use the word liberated for what happened in King's Landing. It is just extra confusing with Tyrion because he used it properly (freed) and improperly (turned to ashes) once right after the other.

I completely agree, this decision to crown Bran/The Three-eyed raven is depressing but also worrying, I think this second aspect was not that obvious even for the writers (I didn't think about it the first time)

The thing I believe he forgot was that king's landing... pretty much is gone as well as the Iron throne. What do the lords have to fight over? Why fight for more deaths and sadness. I forget how long this massive war had been going on, but everyone watching the show saw how many died in it.

The only mistake he made was trusting Daenarys. Everything else he did was not a mistake at all. Not being able to convince the enemy to surrender through words alone, is not a mistake. It's barely even a failure.

The Unsullied did not know this so basically Jon got a pardon and could claim the lands and ships of the Watch as his own and all lands North of the Wall he wanted. The Watch no longer exists.

I think Greyworm was taking Missandei's body to Naath and they were returning to Meereen or their own homelands.

They always called Sansa Little Bird so she became one and told about Jon. The Dothraki were going home in ships behind the Unsullied in the same way they came. They are nomads. they don't want city life.

Bran named Tyrion Hand for the same reason he sent Jon to the Watch. As Hand he cannot be executed by the Unsullied. And of course he manipulated the events to become King, with Sansa and Tyrion's help.

That Arya plot line is not a valid one. She would have stayed with Sansa as her Hand and replacing Brienne.

Tyrion will be the behind the scenes Master of Coin as he was before. Bronn is a figurehead.

The cracked floor in the counsel shows that the wheel has been broken.

And after a few years, Davos will be Hand with Tyrion's training, and Tyrion will spend the rest of his life paying for his mistakes being married to Sansa at Casterly Rock when Sansa eventually turns Winterfell over to Arya as Queen. He will have to answer for his divided loyalties with Shae and Danny LOL!

In the last episode of season 7, we see Jayme catching snowflakes on his golden hand as he is leaving for the North. But presumably several months later, by the end of season 8, its Summer in K.L. 🤔

It means you can now make something lousy or do a shitty job and just say you subverted expectations. Too bad it doesn’t work with normal life. If I fucked off and only did terrible half assed work with minimal effort at my job I imagine I’d get fired pretty quickly. I certainly wouldn’t get to make a behind the scenes video patting myself on the back and congratulating myself on my cleverness. Hooray for euphemism.

Yep, nothing has been making sense for awhile now. Hope Supernatural does better than this.
